Glossary
Key terms used in the feed, composer, and member profiles. For Q&A-style help, see the FAQ.
- EDGE framework
- Decisive Leader’s decision and execution system—widening options, stress-testing assumptions, and closing the gap between choosing and acting. Hub content often nods to EDGE tools (e.g. Five Whats, decision matrix, execution cadence).
- EDGE snapshot
- When composing an insight, the field that tags which life domain the post mainly serves (Personal foundation, Enterprise impact, or Partnerships). Optional; authors can leave No pillar label if the story spans domains.
- No pillar label
- Shown when a post has no EDGE snapshot pillar. It does not mean “public” or “open forum”—visibility is controlled separately (public vs private).
- Context
- The Context line: what was in play—stakes, pressure, or constraints.
- Decision
- The Decision line: what you decided or did.
- Takeaway
- The Takeaway line: what you carry forward.
- All (feed filter)
- Shows every insight you are allowed to see: all public posts, and when signed in, your own private posts too.
- No label (feed filter)
- Short label for posts where the author did not choose an EDGE snapshot pillar. URL parameter remains ?pillar=open for compatibility.
- Replies
- Threaded responses on a public insight. Signed-in members who have completed strategic intake can post replies; emoji and Unicode are supported in the text box.
- Direct messages (DMs)
- Private 1:1 threads between hub members at Messages Open Chat from the bottom nav or start from a member profile. Requires sign-in and completed strategic intake. Emoji supported.
- Direct contact (email)
- Optional mailto link on a public profile when a member enables it in their settings—separate from in-app DMs.
- Strategic intake
- The nine-question diagnostic at Strategic intake that sets focus pillar, scores, and unlocks the full hub for signed-in users.
- Vanguard
- Early-access phase for the Insights Hub—public read, then account + intake for posting and full features.
